Contraceptive advice and prescribing of the oral contraceptive pill is offered in any surgery consultation. We also offer a contraceptive implant service and insertion of coils in the surgery. For more information please make an appointment with Dr Marquis (coils) or Dr Saggar (implants).
Male and Female Health Checks
Our Practice Nurses carry out these simple health checks. Patients between the ages of 40 and 74 are offered an appointment every 5 years. The check includes testing for high blood pressure, measuring height and weight and checking urine samples. Advice about smoking, diet and immunisation is also available.
